Challenge

The pandemic may have delayed the world’s adaptation to 5G, but it certainly pushed virtual experience forward in 2020. This holiday, despite the COVID lock-down, Bajibot partnered with Verizon Media/Ryot Studio from concept to realizing the world’s first webAR pop-up Verizon mobile store! No app download required. Just a tap from a simple SMS url. Users are able to enter this virtual world.

Solution

Bajibot reimagined and transformed the Verizon mobile store into a Winter Wonderland Experience. Our UX team designed a streamlined two-tap interaction for users to launch an AR portal, in front of them. Users simply, physically walk through the portal, into the Holiday Market. They are able to interact with four mystery items and reveal the latest Verizon 5G devices, spin the devices in 360, learn, purchase, and share the devices as AR holiday gifts to their friends and family. The Verizon 5G Holiday Market is optimized for those who have 5G connectivity. Our 3D and AR development team pushed the envelope in 3D modeling, texture map fidelity and visual effects within web AR.

Results

The Verizon 5G Holiday Market campaign had incredible performance results. In just 4 weeks, within the promotional period, we achieved 1.2 million landing page views and 80k actual AR experience completions!
