Plastpro Inc. is one of 4 leading producers of fiberglass entry doors in the USA. Since 1994, the company has been delivering a top-quality product with the best value, technology, and commitment to the customers. In 2018 the Company turned to Axisbits for their corporate site renovation. Being one of the top US door manufacturers headquartered in Los Angeles, PlastPro has firmly established itself in the market since 1994. The Company produces a wide range of front doors with variable door frames, accessories, glasses, and doorlites. They also specialize in specialty doors, like trimmable or fire-rated series, residential as well as commercial. Having a vast distribution network, PlastPro felt the necessity to improve its brand awareness and replace the old corporate website with the new one with the modern design and updated structure. Challenge The client came to us with the request to develop a brand-new site. The old PlastPro website had restricted functionality and little information about the products. So Axisbits’ mission was to create a website with a new design, structure, and a new admin panel to make the site administration convenient and straightforward. We had to take care of the catalog of the products the company offers: doors, glasses, doorlites, accessories.
Solution
With the principles of clean page structure and SEO optimization in mind, the Axisbits team developed a new corporate site for PlastPro from scratch. Our company realized a full-cycle development. The design was crafted in the first turn, we offered our customer a modern new responsive design, which allowed the users to easily surf around the site and look the information about the company and catalogs through with no trouble. After the customer approved the design, Axisbits proceeded with the development of the CMS. It has got a convenient admin panel to manage the site, product catalogs, and content. We used the Yii2 framework based on PHP for the backend and JavaScript, HTML/CSS for the frontend.
Results
The result of our work was a new attractive website of the PlastPro Company, which is easily managed by admins. They can change and add information in the catalogs and the site’s content quickly and without effort. For the users, the site showcases PlastPro products in a modern and intuitive way. Being a convenient tool for visitors, it allows them to get all the needed information in a short time. Axisbits continues to improve and optimize the site and add new useful features for the users and admins.
